Peer Voices: Young People in Recovery
In 2026, MyPiR intern, Joely, conducted the “Peer Voices Project,” which featured a series of 11 interviews with young people exploring their experiences as young adults in recovery.
The age at which the participants entered recovery ranged from 18 to 33, with most beginning their recovery journeys in their 20s. Participants represent a wide range of recovery pathways, each drawing on a unique combination of supports along the way.
